Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Staffing Account Executive to drive new business, strengthen client relationships, and deliver high quality technical talent. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to high profile tech and biotech clients while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure successful staffing outcomes. You will operate within a people first, EOS®‑driven culture that values accountability, transparency, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure 1–2 new IT staffing placements per month, each generating $100K+ in annual recurring revenue
- Develop and manage a pipeline of warm and cold prospects, converting opportunities into long term partnerships
- Daily utilization of Salesforce, using it to prospect for new business, track interactions, and manage opportunities through the sales funnel
- Maintain a client renewal rate exceeding 90% through proactive service and upsell identification
- Partner with recruiting and operations teams to deliver seamless placements and exceptional client experiences
- Leverage EOS® tools to track performance, forecast revenue, and align with company objectives
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of IT staffing or related sales experience (MSP, VAR, technical recruiting agency, or IT placement firm)
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets, with experience placing helpdesk, desktop, or installation talent
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Consultative, relationship focused sales approach

The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $85,000-$100,000, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Murphy McKay & Associates is an equal opportunity employer.
