We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Event Support Coordinator to support the planning and execution of high-impact, large-scale events and meetings for one of the world’s most respected technology companies. This role blends event coordination, technical support, and hands-on execution, making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys seeing events come together from start to finish. This role sits at the intersection of event operations, A/V support, and onsite execution, making it perfect for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments and takes pride in creating seamless experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Setting up and preparing event spaces using existing AV systems, including projectors, screens, microphones, speakers, and lighting
- Performing basic sound and video checks prior to events
- Operating AV equipment during events, such as slide decks, video playback, and microphones
- Troubleshooting minor technical issues quickly and calmly as they arise
- Supporting presenters with connecting devices (laptops, HDMI, adapters, etc.)
- Monitoring audio levels and visual quality throughout events to ensure a polished experience
- Coordinating with staff and partners to keep events running on schedule
- Packing down, resetting spaces, and restoring rooms post‑event
- Partnering with requesters to plan events, rehearsals, and timelines
- Managing event schedules and calendars
- Working cross‑functionally with key partners and stakeholders across the company
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who combines technical curiosity with strong people skills:
- Prior experience supporting events or AV setups
- Comfort working with common connectors such as HDMI, USB, and audio cables
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to stay composed in fast‑paced environments
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and comfort working with people across different roles and experience levels
- A customer‑service mindset with clear, friendly communication
- Ability to lift and move light equipment as needed
- Flexibility to support events that may occur in the evenings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and decision‑making under tight deadlines
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Familiarity with Apple hardware and software
- Experience with macOS presentation tools
- Exposure to corporate conferencing and communication platforms
